Suggest Treatment For Persistent Vomiting And Diarrhea

I woke up this morning and threw up and when I sat to pee, I started to get diarrhea . When I went to leave I saw there was quite a bit of blood in there. I would lay down but would have to get up every hour or so and all that came out was blood clots. That s what it looked like to me.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

After looking at your symptoms I can tell you that blood in the stools is not a thing to neglect. I would like to ask you if you have hemarrhoids problem in which you will see fresh blood in the stools.
If you were my patient I will suggest you to have a stool culture done along with gastroenterologist consultation so that if needed they may advise colonoscopy also. We need to monitor you vitals especially your blood pressure. Take plenty of fluids and oral rehydrating solution.

Hope this helps you.

Regards,
Dr.Alekhya.
