Suggest Treatment For Persistent Vomiting In A Child

Hello, my son has been vomiting for four hours for no apparent reason. There was no food at first until we tried to feed him bread. Then I tried water a few minutes ago, but he vomited it back up. He had a green color just now, an I read that that could be bad. What should I do it s 12:30am, and I thought he could sleep it off...

Thanks for your question on HCM

I do understand your pain and discomforts

As per your clinical history is concerned it is due to food poisoning so follow few steps as below-:

1)Admit him in your nearest hospital and administer IV saline drip to prevent dehydration and further complications.

2)At hospital your doctor may add an antibiotics in vein [ceftriaxone]

3For nausea and vomiting talk with your doctor to take tab [omeprazole + domperidone]
