Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
This is the second time that I have gotten petechiae on my lower legs after being on my feet and walking/standing for long periods, (once at an amusement park, once walking all day in Manhattan). I am 54, on no meds, and exercise daily (walk 2 miles every day). I am over weight at 200 lbs, 5 8 . Should I be concerned?

Suggest Treatment For Petechiae On Lower Legs
Hi Welcome to health care magic, This petechiae could be due to some local allergic reaction or some insect bite. It must be examined by the doctor to rule out any surgical problem. You should take antihistamines with pain killers available over the counter for symptommatic relief. Also, investigate your blood for complete hemogram, bleeding time and prothombin time to rule out ant blood disorder. regards,
