Suggest Treatment For Phlebitis Left Leg

My husband had phlebitis left leg, saw a doctor on Oct. 31. the redness is moving from his ankle up towards his groin over these three plus weeks. Tonight it is red, hot, and he runs a fever off and on. Woke up last night PJ's completely wet. Is this normal or should we head to the hospital?

Please go to ER. It is an emergency.
It can be

- DVT
- or evolving necrotising fascitis

All these needs immediate intervention.

Take care.
