General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The Phoria in a child is secondary to multiple genetic and environmental factors as studied by multiple level evaluations of different aspects. The basic management is focused over the vision correction via required glasses for sharp vision. Over a period of age (around 18 years), the defect gets settled and one can decide for laser correction of the same with expert ophthalmic surgeon.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
