Brief answer - Perioral Dermatitis Detailed answer - As per your query you have dark pigmentation around lips which is mainly due to hyper pigmentation due to excessive absorption of UV rays of skin. Your skin surrounding lips is very sensitive and causing dermatitis there. Its difficult to get gratifying results initially but after a proper follow up you can get rid of it easily. I would suggest you to use hydro quinone, steroid and retinoid based triple combination cream like skinlite. Creams containing fusidic acid combinations are very effective and apply twice a day. Take vitamin D3 rich tablet two times a day. Don t let that area dry and keep applying aloe vera gel or petroleum jelly on frequent basis as dry skin is major cause of hyper pigmentation. Drink alot water. Protect from sun exposure and keep that area covered whenever expose to sun. Consult dermatologist once to check if anything not suiting to your skin.
