Suggest Treatment For Pimple On Left Cheek

Hi Doc, I have a pimple in my left cheek. I pricked it before because I thought it s going to be gone, but unfortunately it didn t. I grew and then I pricked it again as there was still an opening that time, there was a white sticky fluid that went out that time . I was so scared I just leave it. Now, for almost months now, there is no more opening in my pimple and it is just in my cheek, black and a little bumpy. It is not painful tho. What should I do?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pimples or acne should not be pricked else infection can supervene.
Pimples are common on oily skin so regular washing with non-soapy cleanser is recommended.
The acne is best treated with topical application of antibiotic ointment consisting of combination of clindamycin and peroxide.
However, before using any ointment, a clinical assessment is necessary to rule out infection of the pimple.
Thus, I suggest you to consult a dermatologist before starting any treatment.

Thanks and take care
