Suggest Treatment For Pimples On The Foot

My daughter had what looked like a small pimple with small white head on foot this morning that I squeezed outna small hard white head. Now she has raised red lines shooting off the original spot & the small pimple is back. Any idea what this could be?

Hello,

You may get pimples on foot when you are not caring about your hygiene. Take regular showers with foot care.

You get a pimple or acne when the skin gets clogged with dead skin. Bacteria may get trapped into the pore causing it to get filled with pus.

Wash your hands with antibacterial soap & water before touching the blister. Clean it with antiseptic & allow it to drain completely.

Clean it & apply an antibacterial ointment. You can keep it covered with a gaze if you have to go outdoors.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
