Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due seborrhoeic dermatitis. If you send a picture of it then it will be more helpful in identifying. Ketoconazole and salicylic acid shampoos are helpful for this. There are various brands of shampoos available in market like head and shoulders with ketoconazole. Selenium sulphide shampoos like selsun is also good. These should be used twice weekly. Corticosteroids like clobetasol also can be used if it is severe. Antihistamines will be helpful for itching if you have it. A consultation with a dermatologist is well appreciated.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
