Suggest Treatment For Pinkish Mole That Looks Like Blister

Hello, I have what I Think is a mole on my side that occasionally gets in the way when I try to get dressed. Because of its location, it sometimes gets tugged at. I accidentally scratched it the other day which pulled a part of it from the skin. It s raised so it bothers me. It doesn t hurt but I can feel it when my close touch it. I ve been examining it a lot lately and it looks like a blister. It s pinkish and looks like it could be popped. I press down on it with my nail and it does not pop. Actually does not look like a mole to me but has been there for a while. Really can t pinpoint if it s new or has always been there. I have an appointment to get it looked at but will cost me $125 since I have no insurance. Should this be a concern? I uploaded the picture to my profile. You ll see a tiny black spot that s just a piece of the scab from when I scratched it

hi and welcome to HCM
The lesion you are describing may not necessarily be a mole. It can be a skin tag which is completely harmless protrusion of skin n fat, or maybe also a wart. If it is a wart it is better to remove it as it is viral and can slowly spread. If it has been present and without symptoms for a very long time it is mostly harmless. The reason you can get it removed is because it repeatedly comes in the way when you move. Removal is a simple procedure.
I advise you to get it removed mainly because repeatedly hurting it and bleeding can lead to scarring and skin changes in future.
Do hope this helps. Check with your local skin clinic regarding the cost of the same.
