Suggest Treatment For Placenta Previa Type 1 During 17 Weeks Of Pregnancy

Hi.i am diagnosis with placenta previa type 1 at 17 weeks due to spotting..doctor give me iron calcium and butalin tab.now i am at 21 week of pregnency with no any spotting ..can plaecnta previa correct by itslef or not and what will be complication if not resolve ..plz clear all

Good day and thank you for posting this question. I wish you a safe delivery. Good to hear you are no more spotting and it's 21weeks already. The placenta can still move high up as your pregnancy progresses and the placenta preavia type 1 correct by itself. This will be known by doing a pelvic scan in your third trimester. If it's still placenta preavia type 1 then it did not correct by itself and serious care will be taken by your obstetrician to deliver you. The complication of placenta preavia type 1 is bleeding, so blood will be made ready in case you are bleeding and your doctor might also suggest a Ceaserean section for you to avoid complication of bleeding excessively.
