Suggest Treatment For Plugged Ears, Cough And Sinus Congetsion

I have plugged ears, a bad cough, wheezing & sinus congestion. I m taking echinacea, nasonex & eardrops without any real improvement after several days. I was given amoxicillin, but took 1 dose & breathing was difficult. I smoke cigarettes & drink beer. What should I do...? Thankyou

Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
As per your symptoms you are suffering Allergic rhinitis along with Sinusitis due to Viral Infection.

Following Treatment should be done
1.Steam inhalation should be done 2-3 times a day. It will clear your Nose & sinuses.
2.Take anti-allergy drugs like Benedryl/cetrizine it will reduce allergy, congestion & sneezing.
3. Seems like you are allergic to amoxycillin. You could take azithromycin 500 mg twice a day for 3 days
4. Nasal Spray- you can go for nasal spray, it will clear your nose & sinuses. For congestion and running nose you can take oral decongestant like Pseudoephadrine.

Don't worry you would be fine.
