Suggest Treatment For Plugging Sensation In The Ear

It started 6 months ago with my right ear plugging up. one day it plugged totally, plus the floor kept moving up and down. I ve been to 2 internal medicine Dr s, one said I had water in ears, took medicine and took care of my ear problem, but the floor continues to move up and down, went to 2 ENT s, went thru hours of testing, passed everything, went to a Neurologist, nerve testing and reflex etc. passed everything.....floor is still moving up and down. I am not sick to my stomach, no fever or sweating. I can drive or ride in a car with no problem, its when I stop the car and get out that the ground moves up and down. I put my foot on a chair to file my toe nails, after 4 toes the floor starts to move.....have to sit down. I walk very slow so I don t fall. I hang on to my husband s arm when I get out of the car. I had a brain MRI.....passed that. Any suggestions?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Plugging sensation in the ear could be most commonly due to presence of ear wax. You can put ear drops which contains ingredients to dissolve or soften the wax, which makes it easy to come out. However, deep seated wax might not come out that easily and be difficult to be removed. You can consult ENT specialist for clinical evaluation followed by its removal by their assistance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
