Suggest Treatment For Pneumonia

Hi I have been having trouble with shortness of breath, weakness in my legs and arms and generalized fatigue. I had a CT scan done on my lungs that showed no clots or pneumonia. Two days later, my reg Doctor did an X-ray and found that I did have pneumonia in my left lower lobe - which I could feel. I have been on Levaquin for five days and do not feel any better. In fact, today I slept until 1:30 p.m. Because I was so tired. What could be going on?

Hello. Pneumonia takes a big toll on the body and despite the antibiotics working you may feel wiped out for at least another two weeks--this is a normal course of recovery.
