Suggest Treatment For Pooled Blood Around Ankle When Diagnosed With Varicose Veins

Hello. I am a 45 year old woman and have recently seen a vascular surgeon regarding varicose veins on my ankle and now....moving up my leg. I can t remember what he called it, not the bulging varicose veins and not spider but its like the blood is pooling on my ankles so they are purple, bruised looking....gross. He s told me there s nothing to do but wear compression socks. It won t get better but hopefully not worse. Is that really the case? Do you have any thoughts as to anything I can do to make my purple ankle look normal again?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The diagnosis requires an MRI, contrast venography, colour doplex. I hope any one you have done already as mostly these reports tell if there is a need for surgery or not. Constant use of compression hose may prevent, delay, but the problem cannot be treated immediately. The above surgeries or other therapies are available and immediately cure but carry complications. Try sukshm yoga, ombw aol course will heal quickly with them along with allopathy treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
