i m 26 old female ,had abortion from 1 year in 6 weeks.i m saver from MCTD &sjogren s syndroms& fibromylgia .i m om treatment of predonsilone 5 mg & plaquneil 400 mg /day.i m pregnant now in 24 weeks gestation ,my OB DR give my progesterone injonce /week,duphaston BID ,asprin& innohip inj once aday because in 6 weeks gestation i had vaginal spoting again .from 2 weeks i savered from premature labour so my DR give me yutopar tablets TID then after a week of treatment the contraction is more sever so i was admited in hospital on yutopare tablet TIB,biscopane tablet TID,panadol TID after 4 days i improved but still till now feel unconfortable with some contraction .i m asking if i need to stop yutopar tab now or you have another opinion on my way of treatment from first
Hello, It is unfortunate that you have had to suffer so much at just 24 weeks of gestation. Now that the severe episode has subsided, you need to continue with the tocolytic agents that were able to put your uterus at rest until the baby becomes mature or until your consultant feels it is time for delivery. You should also take care that you do not contract any genito-urinary infections as these can predispose to the onset of preterm labor again. Absolute bed rest, rest in left lateral position, regular fetal monitoring and dexomethasone injections, if inevitable preterm birth is anticipated, are necessary. Wish you good health.
