Suggest Treatment For Presence Of Scars On The Face And Acne
HI, I have severe scars on my face which I want to get rid of but I'm not sure how did I get them. Whether they were formed from acne or the sun damage or both. I am willing to send you a photo and seek recommendation on creams I should use immediately.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have presence of scars on the face and acne which is mainly because of post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation and excessive exposure to sun. Pore of your skin become clogged because of clogging of debris and leads to formation of pus. I would suggest you to start with topical application of gel containing clindamycin in the morning and benzoyl peroxide at night time. Use azaleic acid cream based cream at night time. Wash face two times a day with 2% of salicyclic acid containing gel. Visit dermatologist once and get yourself examined. Chemical peeling, dermabrasion, Dermaroller are other possible treatment options. Drink plenty of water. Don't use any cosmetics containing much chemical ingredients. Avoid use of topical steroids.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon. Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
