hi I am 27yrs female experiencing blurred vision. feel stress on eyes, specially in bright light. I don t know if its due to weakness or my eye sight is getting poor. As I got food poisoning 15days ago and it was very bad. I became very weak after that because I couldn t eat anything at least for a week . And I am suffering from blurred vision since then. Also I don t have any other disease.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
hi. it might be because of general body weakness. Take a good diet and regain your energy, you might regain your previous vision too. If it doesn't improve even then get your refraction done by an ophthalmologist

Ophthalmologist Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash's  Response
pressure in eye is otherwise glaucoma. but as you have given symptoms it is refractory problem. refraction is to be done and power of defect detected should be corrected with specs. bright light problem is pupilary reflex.may be food poisoning is related to atropine type poison causing mydriasis or weakness and general debility causing visual problem like blurred vision.
