General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,
I understand your concern.
* At 31st week of pregnancy, breathing becomes trouble sum, while the oxygen demand for baby is increased. So mother starts getting breathless after moderate exertion.
To manage this you need to learn breathing by expanding & relaxing chest cavity under a yoga teacher's guidance.( learn deep breathing )
See that you eat multiple small servings of food, to avoid abdominal distension ( which aggravates breathlessness) / Eat sufficient fibers & drink lot of water to avoid constipation/ do regular walking ( 20 minutes twice a day) after food.
* apart from this get checked by a physician to exclude respiratory tract infection/ Bronchitis ...which is a possibility in severe breathing trouble. Specific medicines given ( as per need)for the problem will relieve you of your problem.
* Taking leave from school will be advised by the treating physician after evaluating your problem.
Thanks.
