Suggest Treatment For Productive Cough, Weakness And Nose Congestion

Ive had flu like symptoms for 9 days. Started out with sinuses and went to stomach. I had chills , and low fever. Now I still have a productive cough. Still feel weak. Sinuses still conjested. Im 49 yrs. old and have never been sick this long before. I dont know if it is the flu or a virus.

. Usually viral upper respiratory tract infection resolve in five to six days.

As you have it since 9 days, it could be bacterial upper respiratory tract infection.

For that your Auscultation should be done.and if needed chest x ray done.

Antibiotic course can be prescribed like Levofloxacin 500 mg OD for five days.

Decongestant like levocetrizine 5 mg OD for five days can be prescribed to relieve congestion
