Suggest Treatment For Prolonged Diarrhea And Abdominal Pain

Had watery diarrhea for almost 2 months, tired, lost weight, probably because of the diarrhea. I can have it 6-12 times a day, I take Imodium to help control it some. I get woke up in middle of the night with it also. I usually have severe cramping with it. Can go several times in a few minutes time. . My regular doctor did blood work, said liver something is elevated , I have a appointment with a GI doctor, but has a long wait, not till January. I think I will die before that. Any ideas what is wrong with me

dear friend

has there been a stool examination conducted?

such long standing severe diarrhea amy be because of ulcerative colitis or a serious malabsorption syndrome. there can be some more diagnoses which will need consideration.

please get a routine stool examination done to start with so that presence of mucus , blood etc can be ruled out and some common illness can be ruled out and revert with the report for further advise.
