Hello,

Please do continue the antibiotics suggested by your doctor. Fever will suppress the appetite and he can develop dehydration as well as it is common in fever or viral fever. Hence, hydration is a must!! If the fever continues to be of high grade. Blood tests will be needed to rule out the cause of fever. Kindly stay in touch with your doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
