General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.
I had gone through your query.Since your brother is having fever for a duration of two months,He needs a detailed evaluation to find out the cause of fever.
CRP (C reactive protein ) indicates he is having some kind of infection somewhere in his body.
I am of the opinion that he might be admitted in a hospital with good lab facilities. He needs multiple investigations including chest x-ray,blood investigations, culture, sputum examination etc to find out the sole reason.
Consult a physician and have a confirmed diagnosis.
Wishing you all the best.
Thank you
