Suggest Treatment For Prolonged Heavy Vaginal Bleeding, Headache And Dizziness

hi, Dr . i am 28 years old lady, i do not have children, i have been bleeding heavily now for 3 months continuously non stop. i consistently have a headache and a dizzy feeling. and i have been put on Primolut. N. yesterday, this morning when i woke up i found there was no blood, i am actually happy about that, but i am getting sleepy and my right leg is becoming sleepy also. if i do stop won t the menstruation start again.?

Hi,

Primolut N is a good drug which can be prescribed to control abnormal vaginal bleeding due to hormonal imbalance. Since you have bleeding for the last 3 months better to check your Hemoglobin levels once.

Low hemoglobin levels also cause tiredness and sleepy. And conceiving children while using this drug is difficult. Consult your Gynecologist on regular basis for further management.
