hello, i began taking clothrimzaole and betamethasone dipropionate cream and mupirocin last november after seeing a specialist for an ear infection i had for years. the infection cleared up quite rapidly but i also got a very itchy rectum and vulva a short time there after….my doctor and the specialist do not see a connection. the intense itch is at night so we thought pinworms but i haven t been around any children though we have two outdoor cats. no worms have been found. i did take a dose of PIN-X as a remedy but there was no positive result. last month i travelled to india for 3 weeks and the amazing thing is that i was symptom free. when i returned to maui the symptoms returned too….hmm. so i am perplexed and distressed with this situation and looking for a possible diagnosis and recommended treatment. can you help?
