Suggest Treatment For Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding

Hi Doc, I have a history of PCOD from 2008. I have tried all type of medication like ayurvedic, allopathy and now homeopathy. I miss my periods for like 2-3 months at a stretch. This time same thing happened and I consulted the homeo doc. She gave me medicines to start my periods. It did start and now it is not stopping. My periods started faintly from 21st November and heavy bleeding started from 1st Dec. My doc gave me medinies to control the heavy bleeding but my periods is not stopping. I started with Pause MF now for 2 days. My periods have been controlled but not stopped. What should I do to stop my periods. I am married and today I will meet my husband after a year.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

First of all, please do not trust a homeopathic doctor for your medical issues. Being in practise for almost 6 years now, I have already seen a dozen cases gone wrong due to treatment prescribed by homeopathic doctors who do not know head or tail about the condition and its correct treatment.

The first approach would be to find out which medication he has actually prescribed to you, and learn more about its consequences. Pause-MF should have controlled the bleeding by now, but if it hasn't then you need to get your hormone levels checked, ultrasound of your abdomen and pelvis, pelvic examination, coagulation profile, etc.
