Suggest Treatment For Prolonged Menstrual Cycle

I am 39 year old female with heavy prolonged periods. I have had sonograms, pap and d&c all came back normal. I am on depo provera to try to stop the bleeding but it s not working. I have been on my period for 23 days. Some days are heavy and others are light. What can i do

Hi, I think you should take high doses of progesterone to stop the bleeding. Depo provera will not work. You can also take some medicines like Tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. Discuss with your doctor regarding this. Check your thyroid profile and prolactin levels. Hope I have answered your question.
