Hi,

You are having a condition known as PAGD (Persistent arousal genital disorder ). This condition manifests itself as unrelenting, spontaneous and uncontainable genital arousal, mainly present in females. A person with this condition can experience spontaneous orgasm that do not resolve arousal and usually this type of arousal does not result from sexual desire.

PGAD can lead to ongoing physical pain, stress and psychological difficulties due to an inability to carry out day to day tasks. The primary symptoms of this disorder include a series of ongoing and uncomfortable sensations in and around the genital tissues, including the clitoris, labia, vagina, perineum and anus.

These symptoms may be in the form of wetness, itching, pressure, burning or pin and needle sensations. These symptoms may occur several times a day and may persist for few days, weeks, months or even years at a time continuously. Still, as this condition has been studied very less, due to the fact that these patients usually do not seek medical attention due to unawareness or feeling of shame.

Therefore, a precise etiology and treatment of this condition may not be described with our present knowledge and experience. However, some of the contributing factors for this condition may be anxiety, depression, panic attacks, distress, frustration, guilt and insomnia etc. Therefore, for the proper management of this condition, you are advised to see a psychiatrist and treatment done under his guidance.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
