Hi,
I have gone through your query and understood your concern. In the current scenario, your cycle is no longer protected since you took the pills irregularly. Thus, you also have chances of conception as well as breakthrough bleeds. Your symptoms can mean any of them. The only way to work it out is to have a blood test for pregnancy and a sonogram of the pelvis, preferably in the trans-vaginal route. If pregnancy can be excluded, the management is based on restoring hormone balance through supplements and hence regularizing the cycles once again. Later, you can get back to your pill format once again. Hope this helps.
