Hello doctor, I have got black spots in my eyes and they come while viewing however they do not disturb or distort my vision but they have come since 2005 and have not disappeared. I showed this to many opthalmologist who said that these are protein globules who should be left as it is. Kindly suggest.

Hi
These are eye floaters or called muscae.
These are the shadow of few floaters present in vitreous chamber of eye.
These may be present normally but appear more in high myopic, diabetics and other degenerative diseases of eyes.
These need no treatment as a seperate intity.
One should not be over conscious for this.
