Suggest Treatment For Psoriatic Arthritis And Sudden Breathlessness
My husband has psoriatic arthritis and has been on enbril for several years with no major side effects until last July he had a total knee replacement. After he was released for water exercise. He discovered he could no longer swim as he had in the past. He was an avid swimmer that could do a mile in Laos. He was suddenly sob. It is now almost one year later. He is sob, been cleared by cardiologist. Has had a CT, only finding that he has a elevated diaphragm on rt side, doing a sniff test tomorrow . Progressively getting worse. Thinking fungal infection ( histoplasmosis) from enbril. What is your impression?
Breathlessness can occur due to various reasons. I suggest you to consult a pulmonologist also for clinical assessment. Fungal infection can be diagnosed after isolation of fungi.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
