Hello
I will try to explain about X ray finding .
Chest X-ray.
X-ray findings in ACTIVE pulmonary tuberculosis ( PTB ) include.
*Lesions in the apical & posterior segments of upper lobe;lesions are usually soft in ACTIVE pulmonary tuberculosis & there is usually no or little FIBROSIS or calcification.
* Apical cavities
* FIBROSIS & CALCIFICATION usually suggest healed pulmonary tuberculosis .
In your case in X-ray site of fibrosis is upper lobe and this is an indication of healed lesions .
Decision to treat 7 type of treatment depends on follow up A F B screen, Chest X-ray & clinical judgement and physical as well clinical history by a PULMONOLOGIST .
Hope this information will be helpful for you.
