I have been receiving treatment for multifocal motor neuropathy, have been getting octagam for five days this last three months, about a month ago I have started to get pulsating ringing in in my left ear, have it all the time now, driving me made, what should I do ,thanks
The symptoms you mention in query are ponting towards a condition known as tinnitus . In this condition person experience pulsating ringing type sound in the ears and sometimes hear his/her own heartbeat . This occur due to localize increase in the blood pressure or increase in general level of blood pressure . These symptoms are probably not due to your medicine that is octagm. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and rule t0 the causes like stress ans anxiety , impacted wisdom tooth . Doctor may prescribe medicines to lower the blood pressure in particular area or in general like betablockers .
Hope your concern has been resolved. Get Well Soon. Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
