Suggest Treatment For Pus Filled Bumps, Boils, Itchiness And Hair Loss

Hi Doctors don t know what I have and I ve seen two different dermatologists. I already got treated for staph and folliculitis. My scalp symptoms have not stopped. What do I have? What should I ask my dermatologist to check for in my next visit? Scalp symptoms: pus filled bumps, boils, itchyness, hair loss, I pull out my hair too. Most of this occurs on the nape of my scalp and behind my ears.

Hello,

I can understand your concern for pus filled bumps, boils, itchiness and hair loss. After analyzing your query it appears that you have recurrent infection of the scalp area. In all such cases it is of utmost importance to maintain a good hygiene and wash scalp area regularly.

I always go for culture and sensitivity of the pus at the affected area to know the exact sensitive antibiotic for the same. For the interim of the help you can take a pain killer such as paracetamol for two times a day. You can take further guidance from a dermatologist.
Take care.
