Suggest Treatment For Radiating Pain From The Knee To The Foot

I stepped on a nail... Pain began in the knee first to the point of not walking without crutches.. The veins on my leg began turning red. When I got to the hospital they stuck a needle behind my knee cap and drew yellow fluid which I was told was supposed to be clear. What was happening?

It sounds as though you have a septic knee joint--an infection in the knee itself
This needs a course of antibiotics to treat it
