Suggest Treatment For Radiating Pain In The Buttocks

My husband is having some very bad pain in this leg starting up in his rear butt. He thot this was tied in with the pain in his 2nd toe which turned out to be matatarsalgia which is he icying & wearing better shoes now with good support. He drives truck a big box truck parttime (2-3 days a week) which might contribute to the pain (getting in & out of the truck). I m wondering if he s having sciatica problems or possibly something else in his hip. What s should we do next? He ll be 72 next month.

i read your problem.
Sciatica pain is often experienced as a shooting, searing pain radiates down the back of the leg.sometimes numbness,tingling,or burni g is felt along the nerve.
Many conditions and diseases can cause pain in the butts,commonly known as butt pain causes of pain in the butts as Bursitis,bruising,piriformis syndrome,muscle strain and shingles to more serious diseases with long term consequences such as Cancer, arthritis of the sacroiliac joints and herniatiated disc with sciatica.all symptoms rwlated to buttock pain must be evaluated in terms of their intensity,duration,location,and aggravating and relieving factors.
pls contact to the orthopedician for further investigation or MRI.
