Suggest Treatment For Raised Mole With Red Scabs On Back

Hi, I have had a small round slightly raised brown mole on my back for as long as I can remember. This past summer, I scraped it and it bled ALOT. But it eventually healed, although it was a bit scabby. Throughout the year, I have periodically scraped it again and it bleeds alot, I put a band aid on it, and then forget about it. But, this Thursday I noticed that it had turned bright red (still the exact same size and shape) and there is a bit of a dark shady patch around it. I made an appointment at a dermatologist but its not until two weeks from now and I am feeling pretty stressed. What do you think it might be?
