Suggest Treatment For Randomly Occurring Pain In Right Forearm
I ve had an aching pain in my right forearm off and on for the past 12 hours. I have type-2 diabetes, and take metformin for it. Also take Allupurinal to prevent gout, a small dose 5mg/day of some blood pressure medication (don t have name in front of me), as well as propecia, a female hormone pill my doctor put me on (1/2 a pill 3x/week) to help boost my testosterone, and a pill I take 1x/week to counter the previous mentioned pill to keep estrogin down.
Based on the history you have shared, it can be nerve pain due to compression of the nerve at cervical spine or muscular strain. Such neuropathic pains are common in diabetics. You can use OTC analgesics like Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen for temporary relief and get it evaluated by a neurologist or your primary care physician.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin,
