Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 37 and have had to episodes of rapid heartbeat, nausa and dizziness out of nowhere. I had to sit down and wasn't sure if I was going to passout or not. This last one has left me feeling like something is in my chest. I also vomited this time too. My husband said I lost all color in my face. I have never had anything like this before. What could it be. I just had a full workup a month ago and was fine.
I passed carefully through your question and would explain that your symptoms could be related to cardiac arrhythmia. Anxiety or an inner ear disorder can not e excluded either.
For this reason, I would recommend consulting with an ENT specialist in order to exclude an inner ear disorder and then performing some other tests:
- thyroid hormone levels for possible thyroid gland dysfunction
- a Doppler ultrasound of the carotid arteries for possible narrowing
- an ambulatory 24-48 hours ECG monitoring for possible cardiac arrhythmia.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
