Suggest Treatment For Rash And Boils Between Legs, Anus And Scrotum

Ok, so my husband and I went to an ER last Tuesday because he has an awful rash and boils between his legs, anus, and scrotum, they sent him home after looking at the area with nothing. Today we noticed two lumps in his left scrotum and one in his right. His testes are sore to the touch. We really are concerned, but local doctors are so nonchalant about medical issues here in Santa Cruz Ca. From what I have read, it looks like he could have mumps or an STD? What explains his lumps? Largest one is about 1 inch long.

From what you are describing this seems like a skin infection i.e. furuncles. It does not sound like STD.
This, however, does require a course of oral and topical antibiotics as far as I am concerned.
I would recommend that you be seen again by another doctor to have this diagnosed and treated.
