General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The rash in rectal area is most probably related to constipation induced skin friction or fissure development, seemingly from consumption of higher antibiotic for MRSA infection.

I would recommend:
- Sitz bath (sitting in a tub filled with lukewarm water)
- Avoid constipation with plenty of liquids, high fiber diet, laxopeg sachets
- Local application of analgesic ointment as xylocaine (5%)
- Consult your surgeon for further guidelines of therapy

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
