Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Buttocks

I have a small spot on my right lower edge of buttock that burns execessively when I lay on it and rollover stretching skin area in a very small 1 cm diameter area. There is no rash or bump at all. I just got back from a week in Bahamas where I first experienced it after first few days. Not sunburnt at all.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having fungal infection called as tinea corporis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily.
2. Apply an antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral fluconazole, itraconazole and terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
