Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Cheeks And Lower Arms Of A Child

4 yr old granddaughter is exhibiting red, blotchy aand aa bit bumpy rash on cheeks, upper and lower arms. Rash was first noticed on her cheeks yesterday; then in the afternoon, it appeared on her upper arms. Today, it seems to have gotten worse, as it is now on her lower arms as well. A few blotchy spots appear on her left upper leg/thigh. She has good appetite, acting normally, playful and engaged. It does not seem to be causing her discomfort, other than occasional itching. 5 ml Benedryl administered and Aveeno lotion applied to affected areas.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
I would like to think of simple rash, but without examining difficult to diagnose. The other possibility is chicken pox or measles, baby may have brought from the school. In chickenpox & measles it starts usually with viral cough & cold. If she is not feverish, all she needs is local application of lotio calamina & she will be fine. Other wise send me the photo of rashes on my whats app
