Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Legs While On Tamoxifen And Amitriptyline

I have broken out in a itchy red rash on my legs and arms one day after getting a little sunburn. Nothing helps. Why did this happen? What can I do to releave the itch and redness? I ve tried Benadryl pills, aloe Vera gel, and Caladryl lotion. It seems to be spreading. I am on tamoxifen, amitriptyline, and Novo-Clonidine. Robin

Hi,

Itching that has started with sun burn needs to be:
- Avoiding further exposure to sun/sunscreen cream before going out.
- Apply moisturizer you routinely use mixed with little betnovate skin ointment (over the counter) before going to bed
- Add Allegra (over the counter) pill at bed time.
If no relief, consult dermatologist after 8 days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
