Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Skin After Using Glue
Hi, I wear a hairpiece to hide scarring from an accident, the front portion was tearing and needed repair. I used super glue to patch the area, shortly afterward a nasty rash started to form in the area I used the glue. I need my hairpiece but kinda at a loss, I though the glue properties would diminish and the rash would go away but it hasn t. I know, take away the irritant and the problem goes away, just trying to figure out a solution, any thoughts
It is mostly due to contact dermatitis by glue. This is an allergic type of reaction. Allergies occur when your immune system reacts to a foreign body. Foreign body may medicine like drug, pollen, animal dander, dust and insect venom etc. When you have allergies, your immune system makes antibodies that identify a particular allergen as harmful, even though it isn't causing rash, itching and redness etc. Advice 1. Apply locally Betnovate – C (betamethasone) cream every 8 hours daily 2. Levocetirizine (tablet Vozet) 5 mg – 1 tablet once daily for 7 days 3. Do not scratch too much as it will caused skin damage and infection I hope this information will help you. I will be happy if you ask another question Thanks
