Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Allergic Reaction With Itching And Hives
My husband had a severe allergic reaction in January of this year. It took 7 weeks before his hives and itching went away. They continued even on steroids and 100 - 150 mg of Benadryl a day. All of a sudden the hives quit and his abdomen swelled overnight. (two pants sizes) He s been battling the swelling and abdominal pain now for 8 weeks. All of his blood work has come back clean and CT scan looked good. He went to a rheumatologist and he ran blood work and said everything looks normal except his white blood count is elevated. He hurts to move, not an appetite because it hurts more to have a full stomach. Any suggestions?
These are causes of increase lymphocytes for which he can be tested cmv, hepatitis, hypothyroid, best is if swelling is visible then pathological examination of lesion, USG abdomen can be helpful to diagnose him (analgesics can be taken symptomatically, eat healthy food antioxidants are helpful amla, aloe vera, basil fresh fruits juices steamed vegetables etc. Surgeon can be consulted in your case.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
