General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Methylprednisone should not be taken without a prescription.
Please be advised to follow up with your treating physician if your skin lesion is not healing.

Your doctor can conduct an appropriate evaluation and come up with the proper management. Please do not take steroids without consulting with your physician first.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal,
