Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Conjunctivitis

I have conjunctivitis that keeps coming back 2-3 days after finishing my amox-clav 875mg tabs 2x daily for 10 days. this treatment is accompanied by polymyxin-B/trimethoprimophth sol 1 drop in each eye 4x daily. I have done this 10 day regimine 2 times and continued with the eye drops. Now, it is back again. greenish yellow discharge that does not stop constant in both eyes, bloody redness on the whites of both eyes, exactly how it started and how it recurred 13 days ago. Following all of the cleanliness guidelines for washing, towel use, etc. Planning to call my clinic to be seen tomorrow asap. What are your thoughts?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As per your question-
Medicines are,
Eye drop Ciprofloxacin (antibacterial).
Eye drop Naphazoline
Tab Allegra (antihistaminic) before going to bed.
Tab Amoxicillin, you may need to get a prescription from your local doctor for this.

Wash eye three times with cold water.
Don't rub eyes.

It will take around 3-5 days to settle down.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
