Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Fungal Infection

I have a yeast/fungal infection and was treated with fluconazole 150mg. I took 1 pill Thursday, 10-27-16. By Saturday (the 29th) I felt great. Sunday (30th) the infection came back as strong as before. What is a next step? What can I do by treating it naturally? I do take a probiotic, 1 a day, Culturelle. There is 1 more fluconazole that can be taken next Thursday, 11-3-16.

Hi,
Fungal infections are at times difficult to treat and persists or reoccur after successful treatment. I would have recommended my patient to take fluconazole 150mg once weekly for 4 weeks. Apart from medications, i would advice maintain strict hygiene, keeping the affected area dry for ensuring better success rates. You can continue taking probiotic as it will help in eradicating fungal infections along with medications.
Thank for for writing into healthcaremagic. Hope the above information helps you. Take care.
