Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Lower Back Pain Despite Taking Epidural Injections
I have had several epidural injections for my back but the pain keeps coming back after 1 month what else can I do. my doctor says the injections is all that can be done? please help it takes my doctor 2-3 weeks before I can get a injection in the mean time I am suffering.
If the issue is not resolving with epidural injections, a fresh MRI spine and neurosurgeon review may be sought for surgical intervention. Spine surgeon or pain medicine specialist review may be done to start more potent analgesic like Tramadol or Gabapentin for long term usage until surgery.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
